Ask the librarian
A librarian is available to readers for:
Help with research in the library catalogs
Bibliographic assistance
Information about library services and collections
Providing documents
To receive potential complaints from library users.
Bibliographic information can be requested at Via de’ Ginori, 10, 50123 Florence, and via email at
b-ricc.informazioni@cultura.gov.it.
Only general information on the opening hours and library services can be given over the phone.
Some manuscripts have been excluded from ordinary consultation and placed, so to speak, “on special reserve” to better protect and preserve them. In case readers are interested in these documents, they can consult a digital reproduction:
List of excluded manuscripts and ancient prints
Readers can ask for information about the Library’s collections and receive assistance with bibliographic searches by contacting the staff in the Reading Room or the Public Relations office (URP).
