Many people have reported to us the deceptive use of the name of the Biblioteca Riccardiana by persons unknown to us for the sale of books, especially facsimiles of our manuscripts.
In order to protect its good name, the Biblioteca Riccardiana firmly declares that it is totally uninvolved in any sale or initiative made in its own name, and we invite those who have been contacted in this way not to trust these characters.
The Riccardiana Library warns any person or company against the unauthorised use of its name.
