Public Relations Office (URP)
The Office for Relations with the Public (URP) established in 1995 in compliance with art.12 of Italian Law number 29 of February 3rd, 1993 (now art. 11 of Italian Law number 165 of June 30th, 2001), is tasked with guaranteeing the right to information, access, and participation of citizens, as required by Law 241/1990 and Law 150/2000.
The URP is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
It offers information services and answers frequently asked questions.
Through this office, users can:
- obtain information about the services offered, opening hours, and scheduled events.
- Submit observations, reports, and complaints using the appropriate forms. The latter will be handled according to the internal regulations of the public libraries under state jurisdiction. This will help us guarantee an adequate response to the citizens’ needs. Also, it will make it easier to evaluate the quality of the services provided.
- Report inefficiencies using the attached form.
- Request access to the administrative documentation kept at the Biblioteca Riccardiana (as per Law 241, August 7th, 1990, D.P.R. 352 of June 27th, 1992 and D.P.R. 184 of December 4th, 2006) through the attached form.
Access to some documents is denied due to public order and security reasons (as per Law 241/90 art. 24, D.P.R. 352/92 art. 8, D.M.B.C.A. of October 26th, 1994 n. 682, D.P.R. 184/06, art. 10);

The following documents are available to the public:
- a record of requests to make proposals for the purchase of works that are not currently owned by the Library.
- A special record for observations and/or proposals.
